FIELD

My work emerges from boundary conditions—states in which systems, histories, scales and forms of intelligence meet and alter one another.

FIELD is the evolving substrate of the work. Exploration geology, photojournalism, long residence with the Mentawai, FIELD STATION and the Baja-specific SE VENDE are not separate chapters but accumulated methods and materials, continually absorbed into PLEASE FORGET (EVERYTHING). The work moves through charged geographies—from Kyoto, San Francisco and Athens to Göbekli Tepe—using the deep past and the far future to read the conditions of the present.
